Born August 30, 1921. Called home to the Lord March 20, 2015. Vernelle was born one of thirteen children to Andreas and Anne Boyum in Peterson, MN. After graduating from school in Lanesboro, MN, she moved to St. Paul where she worked and later met and married Marv. Preceded in death by husband, Marvin; parents, Andreas and Anne. Survived by her children, John (Pamela) and David; grandchildren, Courtney (Corey), Emily (Wade) & Matthew; great-granddaughters, Kylie & Kate. Funeral 11 AM on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at GUSTAVUS ADOLPHUS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1669 Arcade St (Hwy 61), St. Paul, with visitation one hour before the service in the Fireside Room. Interment Forest Lawn. Memorials preferred to Lyngblomsten Care Center or Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church.
