Smilin' Milan Master Plaster - Payne Ave. Icon Sailed his last vessel May 9th, 2015 at the age of 88. Beloved husband, father and grandfather of the world. Joined his loving wife, Frances, Parents, Siblings, numerous friends, WWII & plastering buddies. Milan proudly served on the USS Dawson during World War II. Spent a lifetime mastering the art of plastering & stucco. Rehabbed and rented out many eastside homes and always enjoyed his daily drive-bys, as did everyone he visited. He will be greatly missed by many, especially those he guided & taught so well. Father of Maxine (Gary) Blomker, Georgianna, Christeen (Skip) Anderson, Mark; grandfather of Stacy (Bill) Erickson, Russell (Christa) Blomker, Nicole Anderson & Michael; great-grandfather of Justin & Trenton Estes, Damon & Kristen Erickson, Braden; godson Kevin; numerous nieces and nephews & many cherished friends. Special thanks to the VA Hospital & Dr. Roth, PCA's Maggie, Diane, Gary & Max for their wonderful devotion & loving care. Visitation Sunday 1-4PM with a Memorial Service at 4pm at Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 Arcade St. (hwy 61), St. Paul. Interment Fort Snelling Monday - meeting at the funeral home at 11am.
