Bill Spiel, age 79 of Saint Paul, Minnesota, died Sunday, August 28, 2016 of heart failure. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ginger; daughters, Laurie Spiel & Sandy (Lindell) Blanchette; 2 granddaughters; and 2 1/2 great-granddaughters. Bill is retired from Honeywell. He loved bowling, fishing, camping, and Disney. Visitation will be held 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 Arcade Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota. Memorial Service will be held 11 AM on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church, 1669 Arcade Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota, with a Visitation 1 hour prior. There will be a luncheon following the Memorial Service. Interment Roselawn Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the family. The family requests that you wear blue, Bill's favorite color.
