Obituary of Clarence E. Nelson

Passed away January 10th. Educator in District 622. Clarence was born on August 17, 1925 in Rush City, MN to Albert & Marie Nelson. He was class of 1943 from Rush City High School and then served in the US Navy. He graduated from Trinity College in Chicago and went on the teach in District 622, sold cars at Polar Chevrolet and worked at J.R. Johnson. Member of St. Croix Chordsman. Clancy was a man of strong faith and a longtime member of First Evangelical Free Church. He enjoyed animals, cars, hunting, fishing & time spent at the cabin. He was preceded in death by his parents & several siblings. Clarence is survived by his loving wife of almost 60 years, Ruth; daughter, Pam (Greg); son, Scott (Shana); sister, Helen; brother, David; old friend, Ed Nelson; cousin, Wilfred "Buzz" Anderson; many nieces, nephews, friends & relatives. Service at 12 Noon on Wednesday, Jan. 18th at the Roselawn Cemetery Chapel, 803 W. Larpenteur Ave, Roseville, with visitation 1 1/2 hours prior to the service. Interment Roselawn Cemetery.
