Loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather

Bud spent 96 years living at the same address in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anna (Vollrath) & Harry Martin Nagel; stillborn daughter, Robin; siblings, Lucille (Harry Gaetke), Katherine (Chuck Weber), and Don; and many dogs. Bud is survived by his wife of nearly 70 years,  Ella Violet (Brastad) Nagel, who he married on August 16, 1947 "on the hottest day ever!"; daughter, Bonnie (David); granddaughter, Erin; grandson, Sean; sisters-in-law, Ellie Nagel  and Pearl Nordstrom. Funeral Service 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 28, 2017 at Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 Arcade Street (Hwy 61), Saint Paul, Minnesota, with Visitation at 9:30AM. Private Interment. Thank you to the Healtheast Hospice staff & Greeley Estates' staff in Stillwater, especially Lorna who he believed was his "other mother".
