Obituary of Dorothe Louise Sanny

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. Passed away peacefully in her sleep early on July 18,2017.

She was preceded in death by father, Waldemar Kortmann; mother, Laura (Ted) Osborne; brothers, Richard and Wallace Kortmann; and husband of 50 years, Lee Owen Sanny.

She is survived by son, Thomas Sanny, St Paul; daughter, Linda (Karl) Bandlien, Highland, MI; son, John (Diana) Sanny, Shoreview; grandchildren, Liv (Eivind) Amsrud, Melsomvik, Norway; Amy (Bryan) Storkel, Burbank, CA; Karl Oskar (Deanna) Bandlien, Rochester, MI; Christopher (Joelle) Sanny, Shoreview; Maria (Reid) Klopfenstein, Eagle, CO; Lael Sanny, Fort Collins, CO; Keoni Sanny, Columbus, OH; 10 great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.

Dorothe had a long and fulfilling life including overseas travel, family camping, fun family games, crafts she made & sold, church bowling team, CC-Skiing, and life-long volunteering of her services to AHP Church and the Union Gospel Mission. A servant at heart, she was faithful to Jesus and dedicated to furthering the Gospel message; thus a Celebration of her life and Home-going will be held at Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 Arcade Street (Hwy 61), Saint Paul. Visitation is from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on August 2nd, 2017 as well as one hour prior to the service. Funeral Service is 11:00 A.M. on August 3rd, 2017 with reception to follow and private Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

The family gives special thanks to the staff at St Anthony's Park Home and Hospice Staff for their loving care and support of Dorothe during this time. Memorials are preferred in support of the mission effort her son, John, founded and serves on: Servanteers International Organization.
