Gordon L. Carlson Beloved Husband, Dad, and Grandpa. Gordy passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020 at the age of 95. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Delores; son, Curt; and great-grandson, Parker. Gordy is survived by his son, Scott (Renee); daughter-in-law, Denise; grandchildren, Matt (Jessica) and Alissa (Anthony); great-grandchildren, Mackenah, Hadley, and Reilynn; and sister, Barbara (Marvin) Kruskopf. Gordy was a proud Navy Veteran. He was a member of the Volunteer Rifle Squad at Fort Snelling, and he also volunteered at the VA Hospital for many years. Visitation beginning at 12:00PM, followed by the Memorial Service at 1:00PM on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 Arcade Street (Hwy 61), Saint Paul, Minnesota. Interment with full honors will take place prior to the Visitation at 10:30AM on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery - Assembly Area #2. Memorials preferred to the Volunteer Rifle Squad at Fort Snelling.
