Obituary of Nicholas "Nick" Schmitt

Nicholas James “Nick” Schmitt, 25, of Anoka, died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 12th, 2020. He was born January 23rd, 1995. Nick graduated from Anoka High School in 2013, where he was a valued friend and member of the hockey team. He spent his days working in the construction industry. Nick is survived by his father, James “Jim” Schmitt, and mother, Patricia “Patty” Schmitt. He leaves behind his maternal grandmother, Edna Johnson; and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Amanda Moen of Anoka, and many close friends. Nick was preceded in death by maternal grandfather; Donald Johnson; paternal grandmother, Jean Schmitt; and paternal grandfather, Robert Schmitt. A funeral will be held Saturday, March 21st, 2020 at Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 North Arcade Street, St. Paul, MN 55106. Reviewal at 11:00 am, with Service to follow at 1:00 pm. Nicholas
