Joanne E. “Joni” Moris (Batterson), of Oakdale, passed away on July 13th, 2020 at age 81. Joni was preceded in death by her parents, George & Grace Ziemski; son, Michael; In-laws, Edward & Bernice Moris; and former husband, Gary Batterson. She is survived by her loving husband, Peter Moris; sons, David and Steven; step-sons, Michael (Shaye) Moris and Mark Moris; 9 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marlene Ziemski, Linda (Jim) Dahlin, Debra Ziemski, Georgia (Larry) Aamodt, and Karyne (Joe) Taney; brother-in-law, William (Lynn) Moris; and sister-in-law, MaryJo (Tom) Magill. Joni is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.
A Celebration of Joni's Life will be held on Monday, July 27th, 2020 from 4:00 - 6:00pm at Lake Elmo Event Center, 3712 Layton Avenue N, Lake Elmo, Minnesota.
