Our family became a neighbor to Betty in 1997, she was quite a girl! She talked about the quilt shows she would go to and about the types of fabric she had. Betty was full of energy and had a quick chuckle with a sparkle in her eye. We even visited Pailsade Head on the North Shore because she told us how she went there with her family and that it was so beautiful, she was absolutely right about that. We talked last week, she felt she was healing and was anxious to drive soon. When I said goodbye I told her to be good, she said she would, and I told her No driving! In her low voice she said 'Ok', we both we laughed because she really wanted to drive. Our street feels sad without her, I will miss her. Betty always spoke fondly of her family, I hope good memories can help during this time of sadness. Becky Mongin
