It was a blessing to have known this sweet Christian woman, Ethel Skoog. When I was in high school I babysat her three children, Ruth, Tim and Kathy. Sometimes Ethel invited me to join her family for dinner before she went out with her husband Ron Skoog for the evening. Ethel was a wonderful cook so I always enjoyed eating dinner with the Skoog family, but most of all I remember the heartfelt prayers Ethel and her husband shared before the meals. She and her husband always had Bible stories they selected for me to read to the children before I could read their other favorite children's story books. Ethel had a profound, positive influence on my life.
