Age 86

Passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 25, 2025. Preceded in death by both his parents and brother. Survived by his loving wife, Lydia; children Trina (Dave), Michael (Lisa), Tanya (Brian); grandchildren Jordan (Jake), TJ, Cole, Ariel (Danny); 6 great grandchildren; loving sister, Xenia; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews. Stan served and is a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of the US Women’s Olympic Select Committee and President of the Minnesota Soccer Association. He was inducted into the US soccer hall of fame in 2006. Stan was beloved by all who knew him. Please keep him and his family in your prayers. Funeral services will be on Feb 15 at 11:00am at St. Katherine’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 1600 County Highway 96, Arden Hills, with visitation one hour before. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with luncheon to follow.
