Dolores Ann Majetich
Of White Bear Lake Minnesota, formerly of Mt. Iron, Minnesota passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 29, 2025. Preceded in death by her parents, infant son, brother Donald Johnson and son-in-law Mike Gorski. Survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, John; children; Sally Gorski, Ann Wellmann (Chad), Carol Reeves (Doug), grandchildren; Adam Gorski (Josh), Emily Hogan (Josh), Meghan DeMaris (Benjamin), Aaron Wellmann (Brittany), Katie Reeves and Nathan Reeves, great grandchildren; Isaac, Sylvia, Julia, Maria, Caleb, Thomas, Oskar, Madilynn, numerous nieces and nephews.
Dolores was born on the farm, in Hutter, MN and grew up in West Virginia. Upon graduation from St. Luke’s school of nursing she married John, her high school sweetheart. She worked her entire career as an RN at the East Range Clinic in Virginia. They moved to St. Paul in 2011 to be near their daughters and their families.
Those Dolores cared for as a nurse or befriended throughout her life were blessed by her loving nature.
Dolores enjoyed knitting, sewing, cross country skiing, theatre and music, annual family trips to the North Shore and cousin bed and breakfast weekends; and she cherished the memories from those times.
Dolores loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and took great interest in being involved in their lives and knowing they were thriving. Her Christian faith and modeling it to her family was of paramount importance throughout her life and was evidenced by the divine orchestration of her final moments.
The family is eternally grateful for the compassionate care provided by the staffs at Cerenity White Bear Lake AL/TCU and Suite Living Memory Care/Hospice Vadnais Heights.
A visitation will be held on Saturday February 8th at 10:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am at South Shore Trinity White Bear Lake. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Virginia, MN at a later date.
