Alexandra was born on May 5, 1928 and grew up in St. Paul. She and William were married in 1948. They then built a home in Maplewood in 1956 where they raised their family.
She enjoyed traveling with her family all across the United States by travel trailer. She and William traveled Europe, visited Hawaii, and took a Caribbean cruise. After retirement, they spent winters in Florida and Arizona traveling by motor home.
Alexandra's faith and church were an important part of her life. She attended Our Redeemer Lutheran Church from 1959 until she was physically no longer able. While residing at the nursing home the faith services there were a highlight of her week.
Alexandra enjoyed dancing, participating in a bowling league, and dinners with friends and family. She also relished a hard-fought game of Scrabble, playing cards, and working in her flower gardens, especially her spring tulips. She was an excellent cook, a good sport, and very supportive of her family.
Visitation 10 AM followed by 11 AM funeral service on Thursday, February 13th at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1390 E. Larpenteur Ave, Saint Paul. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Amen!!
