Richard David Koepke (Rick) 38, of St Paul, Minnesota, passed away on April 12, 2025 in Edina Mn.
There will be a celebration of life for Rick on May 9th, 2025, at 5:00 pm at Mounds Park. Rick was loved by many.
Rick was born in St Paul, Minnesota to Shawn Thury(Koepke)on May 9, 1986. He went to Arlington high school, he worked as a barber, then continued on to become an Electrician, wiring and rewiring some of the historic buildings downtown St Paul as well as residential homes and businesses in the Metro area and as far North as Duluth. He couldn't wait until the weather was nice to get his motorcycle out every year, taking the kids out for a rides, and riding with groups of friends enjoying the freedom of the outdoors wind blowing through his hair, concerts, fishing, boating and barbequing with family and friends.
Rick is survived by his children, Autumn Sjostrand, Ayvah, Alex ,and Ashton Koepke, mother Shawn Thury (Earl Ashmore) father David Patraw (Joanne Lindstrom) brothers and sisters: Jessica (Ryan) and John Thury, Billy, Cornar, and Ashley Nelson, Grandparents Robert Koepke, Barbara Miller, Karen Newman, Gordon Patraw, aunts Barbie Miller, Dawn Miller, Tanya,Carol Koepke, Angela Shanklan, Franny Trumble, Nancy Patraw. uncles Robert & Ronald Koepke, Thomas Miller, Christopher and Gordy Patraw . Nieces and nephew Rozlynn, Harley, Kaylan, Benjamin. Cousins Felisha, Robert, Kaylah, Tatiana, Terrell, Faithe, Ayden, Grace, Haley, Raymond, Jesse Lisa, Heather, Emily from Saint Paul. He is preceded in death by his (Dad) Eugene Thury, (Grandmother) Faye Thury, Roberta Koepke, (Cousins) Thomas Miller (TJ), Terrence Miller, Marcus Koepke and Janessa Miller
