Carol (nee Helgeson)

Carol passed peacefully surrounded by her children Karen (James) Muckerheide, Tom and Dan. Survived also by grandchildren Carolyn (Eric) Downey, David (Marilisa) Muckerheide, Kristin (Jesse) Vogelpohl and 7 great-grandchildren. Preceded by husband of 46 years Gerald, son Gary, and brother Ronald (Janet) Helgeson, daughter-in-law Linda and grandson Kevin Brockway. Carol was a 1947 graduate of Johnson H.S. She and Jerry were avid dancers in their early years. Later years brought her back to the game she loved. BINGO! She and Dan had become part of the Foxhole bingo hall family and will be missed by the many friends she met there. After being raised and confirmed at East Immanuel Lutheran Church she brought the family to Arlington Hills Lutheran where she has been a member for 65 years. Very special thanks to B who was sent by the Lord to help mom and our family during these past few weeks. Private interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
