Age 78. Passed away on August 27, 2025. Preceded in death by her husband Alexandre Hupalo. Survived by sons Wally (Melissa) Hupalo and Steve Hupalo; grandchildren Gregor, Steven Jr., Sebastian, Daisy; great-grandchild Camden; brothers Andy (Gerry) Kowalenko and Nick (Mary Beth) Kowalenko.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2 from 5PM - 8PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 Arcade Street (Hwy 61), St. Paul. The funeral will be Wednesday, September 3 at 10AM at St. Katherine Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 1600 W. Hwy 96, Arden Hills. Internment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park following the service.
Maria was a retired employee of West Publishing.
