Joseph Mark Perna was on born Friday, May 4, 1962 at Bethesda Hospital, here in St. Paul. He passed away early Monday morning, September 22, 2025. He was 63 years old. He went K thru 12 grades at St. Bernard’s grade school and high school.

He loved to travel especially when he and his daughter used to fly down to Florida to visit us. He also loved to draw and go fishing. Whenever he walked into a room, he made the room much brighter with his presence.

He was preceded in death by his father Patrick Perna and his brothers Steve Perna and Michael Perna.

He is survived by his loving Mother, daughter Cassie Perna (Kevin), Pat Perna (Patricia), Jake his nephew, Aunt Agnes, Aunt Mary, Uncle Sam and his family and Joe’s former wife Sandra and all of his wonderful friends who treated him like family. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
