Anita Lea Carr passed away at Suite Living Senior Care in Forest Lake, MN on November 17th, 2025, at the age of 90 almost 91.
Anita was born on November 25th, 1934, to parents Carl and Edith Larson. She grew up near Bald Eagle Lake and Graduated from White Bear Lake High School class of “1952”.
She was united in marriage to Robert (Bob) Carr on June 15th, 1957, for 62 years. Anita & Bob raised their 5 children, numerus, dogs, cats, horses and critters in Grant, MN.
Anita worked for the St Paul Railroad, the Arsenal in Arden Hills and retired from Ramsey/Regions Hospital after 28 years as a switchboard operator.
Anita will be remembered for her wit, dry sense of humor, her kindness and giving nature, animal lover and her extreme love for family. Anita loved people, nature, animals, bowling, casinos, the lake cabin, and coffee.
Preceded in death: Parents Carl & Edith Larson, husband Robert Carr, daughter in-law Debra Carr and best friend Ruby Iverson.
Survived by her brother Gary (Betsy) Larson, Children, Laurie (Jay) Junker, Thomas (Deanna) Carr, Susan (Scott) Hurd, James Carr, David Carr. Grandchildren: Nick, Terra, Isaac, Ellie, Linda, Michael, Cori, Jeni, Matthew, Aaron, Sarah, Travis, Heather, Zachary. 23 great grandchildren and many special cousins and friends.
Funeral Service 11:30AM Monday, December 1st, at Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 Arcade Street, St. Paul. Visitation at 10AM. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
