Carolyn Jean Kelleher (nee Tapley) Passed away peacefully on November 17,2025 at age 98 at United Hospital Hastings,

Carolyn’s birthplace was in Arlington, Massachusetts.  With a military father of WWI & WWII, Carolyn and her mother would see many states before her adult life.   Ending up in Florida, she took a job at an optical store in Burdines, a department store in Miami.  She met Dennis Kelleher as a customer and a few years later they were united in marriage in June 1949.  Carolyn worked for Eastern airline for about 12 years while Dennis worked to graduate from Harvard BS.  Starting a family, they welcomed their first adopted child, David.  Then Dennis’s career brought them to a new home in Arlington Heights, Illinois where they adopted their daughter Joyce.  Another move would bring them to White Bear Lake, MN.  Carolyn enjoyed playing bridge with the longtime group of friends that started from the church she attended, Parkview UCC. She was also very diligent and enjoyed the exercise groups at the YMCA.  

Preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Evelyn and her husband Dennis.  

Survived by her two children David (Beth) and Joyce (Dave), grandchildren Rain and Ambria.
