Died peacefully on January 27 2013 at the age of 97. Lucille was preceded in death by husband of 52 years John. Survived by children Betsy (John Gaspar) and Robert Carlson (Kay); grandchildren Matthew, Michelle, Michael and Nicole; great-grandchildren Jewel and Evan; sister Anita Pomroy; other family and friends. Graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Library Science and worked many years for the St. Paul Public Library and later as a substitute librarian in the St. Paul Public Schools. She loved reading and travel, was devoted to family and never forgot a birthday. She will be missed by all. Memorials preferred to the Friends of the Library.
