Not many people are blessed to have a friendship as long as we did. I am beyond grateful you shared your goofy humor and giggles, self deprecation with me and my family. We saw each other through some very tough times, wiping tears and rejoiced with the good times. THEN we laughed hysterically at the absurd. You have been Uncle Barron to all my babies and one of the best friends I will ever be blessed with and one of the greatest loves of my life.
We switched places, sometimes I'd wake in the hospital, you holding my hand and then vice versa. I hated your accident, but I loved to have you at the house and the children got to spend time with you as well. Especially "Chicken Nugget".
You were open and loving, genuine and kind. You did service work and actually worked a program without bragging about it. We called each other when we got stuck and encouraged each other when we were deflated. So many memories I have to sit and run through my head, making me smile and warming my heart and making my eyes leak.
I don't know how to breathe without knowing I can call you and see you. I haven't got my land legs back, they keep wanting to collapse under me. I do not know to live yet, in a world that no longer physically holds you. So I will talk to you and close my eyes tight and listen for your laugh. I will try to be more like you. I will try to just be present. I miss you. But I'm glad you get to go home. I'll see you down the road. LOVE YOU!

Yeas of cherished friendship, his loving advice during difficult life events. "When your plate is full, it is time to get a smaller plate." He was a shining example of just how endearing being yourself, and speaking your truth inspires others to do the same. His place in the spirit world is secure.

I know what it means to lose your daddy I will know he will rest in peace because he's in a better place in no pain. him and I always had a really good time because he was a big hand in the birth of two of my favorite people Scott and Tony! I wish his family well I so they can always contact me and we can cry together. He also helped my friend Liz through some hard times as well through the program and I'm always forever in debt for that. Say hello to my Daddy, Barron RIP

R.i.p. Brother, it was always great talking to you about your love for the west side and your love for mexican food. Barron carried a great love for humanity and most of all his fellow man. His story of the AA meeting in Chicago he attended I'm certain resonates in everyone's mind cuz he loved to tell it so much! When he said 'Brother' you know he meant it. His sincerity, humor and simplicity gave everyone a sense of comfort and acceptance whenever he was present. I will look forward to seeing you again at the big meeting in the sky Brother. R. I. P.
