Antuan D’juan Jones-Powell Born on December 16th, 1981, Antuan was born to Pearlean Jones and Oscar Powell in Rock Island Illinois. Relocating and growing up in Minnesota, Antuan developed his roots continuing to grow and live his life in South Minneapolis. In life Antuan had many dreams and aspirations, he was very passionate about his children and life. Having a strong love for nature, his happy place was being out in. He had a deep passion for knowledge, educating himself on educating people on how to better themselves, mind body and spirit. Teaching his children that there is only one chance to do something great and to not allow fear or bad association to hold them back, and that there is so much more to life than what they think. Being a deep thinker, he always challenged those around him to think and remain outside the box. He was very inspirational in the form of reminding people, that you are bigger and more powerful than your problems. If there was one thing Antuan would do, it was to make sure that you remain true to self and hold yourself accountable in all choices you make in life. His passion for life and his spirit is so strong, he truly hasn’t left us at all because truth be told, Legends never die. Antuan is proceeded in death by his Father Oscar Powell, His Grandmother Rosie Mae Roberts, and uncles Donnie and Harold Roberts, followed by a newly discovered Brother named Michael.
