Obituary of Jay William Adams

Jay was a fun, loving & kind-hearted person who liked to live life to the fullest. He was always happy, kind and lovely to be around. Everyone knew him for his "high five and good morning." Jay was an honorably discharged Navy veteran, serving from 1969-1973. He graduated from Grafton High School and then the U of MN with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mortuary Science in 1974. He then joined his father at Adams Funeral Home in Grafton, ND. Jay and his wife started a drug store in 1989, serving Hmong Refugees and the East Side Neighborhood for 15 years. Jay helped doing free prescription pick-up and delivery services as well as solving any unforeseen problems as they arose. He retired in Udonthani, Thailand with his wife from 2005-2015. Jay is survived by his wife, Rachaneeporn Adams (Sriswad) of Maplewood, MN; siblings, John S. Adams of Chula Vista, CA, Susan J. Knutson of East Grand Forks, MN, and Wayne H. Adams of Grand Forks, ND; nieces, nephews, grand-niece & grand-nephews. Memorial Service at 11 AM on Monday, Nov. 28th at TRINITY BAPTIST CHURCH, 2220 Edgerton St, Maplewood, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment Fort Snelling.
