Irvin Richard Gutsche was born May 26, 1931 in St. Paul, MN. The youngest of 4 living children born to German immigrants Ferdinand and Pauline Gutsche. Irvin graduated from Johnson H.S. in 1949 and from Northwest Institute as a radio-tv-electronics technician in 1951. He married Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Roberts in 1952. His lived his entire life in the St. Paul area and worked for Sears as a TV Repairman for many years before retiring. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years Betty, daughters Susan (Dale) Mitchell of Merrill, WI, Mary (Gary) Florke of Marine on St. Croix; sons Richard of Maplewood, Russell (Hellen) of Mpls, and Daniel (Tiffany) of St. Paul. Surviving also are his sister Lori (John) Schneider of Colorado, 9 grandchildren,  9 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces, 3 nephews and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Alfred, George and infant sister Elsie. Funeral 11 AM on Friday, May 12 at LifePoint Church, 2220 Edgerton St, Maplewood. Visitation from 5-8 PM on Thursday, May 11 at Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 Arcade St (Hwy 61), St. Paul, and one hour prior to the service at church.
