Obituary of Betty Noreen Olson
Please share a memory of Betty to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Betty Noreen Olson, of Bloomington, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home with her family on April 26th, 2020.
Betty was born in Duluth, Minnesota. Her parents were Ted & Esther Linne, and she attended and graduated Denfeld High School. Betty went on to earn a certificate in administration, and later moved to the Twin Cities where she worked in Customer Service at Northwest Airlines. She built lasting friendships and enjoyed a 25 year career before retiring.
Grandma was a voracious reader who collected teddy bears, and loved plants, her cats, rollercoasters, making hors’doeuvres to share, and wrapping presents perfectly. BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) was a very important part of her life, where she learned to love the Lord well. Betty prioritized spending time with her family - she was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Betty is survived by her husband, Eric Olson, of Bloomington; children, Stephanie Bjorlin Carlson, Scott (Cyndi) Bjorlin, and Mark (Karen) Bjorlin; grandchildren, Elisabeth Carlson (Jonathan McGrath), Meredith (Loren) Provenzano, Mitch (Leah) Carlson, Katie (Garrett) Boyum, Alayna Bjorlin, Josh Bjorlin, Abby Bjorlin, Chloe Bjorlin, and Jude Bjorlin; great-grandchildren, Logan, Elliot, Lilou, and Ezra; and her siblings, Richard Romer, Bob (Kathy) Romer, Peggy (Patrick) Romer-McCarthy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted & Esther Linne and Bertha “Berts” Angove; and sister, Susan Romer-Harris.
A Celebration of Life will be held this summer, family and friends will be notified.
