Our beloved Nellie Mazurkiewicz passed away peacefully on July 28th, 2020 at age 97.
An original child of Swede Hollow, Nellie leaves behind nearly a century of stories and history. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Joe, Nellie, Mike, Mary, Noah, Joey and Perry; her husband, Frank; her sons, Frank and Mark; and her grandchildren, Jason and Zovja. Nellie is survived by her grandchildren, Eric (Jennifer), Tara (Scott) and Ivan (Amber); and many great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Friday, August 28th, 2020 at the Arcade Phalen American Legion Post 577, 1129 Arcade Street, Saint Paul from 2:00pm-6:00pm. A short Prayer Service will take place at 4:00pm.
Covid-19 precautions are being taken.
