I met Scott while working together at the Saint Paul Hotel years ago, but cannot remember when he has not been a part of the fabric of downtown life popping up unexpectedly whenever & providing a lively boost. His warmth and charm made him one of the best in the business, which he would shrug off.. he sensed when help (physical or spiritual) was needed, deftly reacting all the while exuding good humor & boundless energy.. I just saw him striding down W7th St looking dapper & healthier than ever when we chatted a bit. What a shock! I will so miss his candor, his kindness, his good will & mischievous spirit. His memory will inspire me to serve selflessly, to make life and work fun, will bring a smile to my lips and a tear to my eye. Love you so, Scott!

I worked with Scott at Wildside Catering and the Saint Paul Hotel years ago. He was always fun to see and great to have a conversation with — definitely one of the servers I’ll never forget! My mom also worked with him and passed away at a young age (2010, age 54). I know she was a fan of Scott too! My condolences to his friends and family.

I just learned of Scott’s passing. So sorry to hear this. We had been close friends and had many laughs, lunches, dinners together. We had drifted apart but when I heard of his Dear Mother’s passing was try to locate and connect with him again. I can still hear his laugh, quick wit and see the mischievous sparkle in his eye, gone way too soon. Condolences to his family, I know he loved you all. Understand during Covid no celebration of life, hope one can be done in the future.
Scott, I know you are dancing in heaven, Rest In Peace, you are missed.
