I am so very sorry to learn Dr. Moyer has passed. I attended Hamline from 1986-90 and minored in English. He was a delight to learn from. I spent a J-term studying War and Peace; it was one of my favorite memories of my time at Hamline. I already loved the book, his enthusiasm and knowledge made me appreciate it even more. I work in education myself and I think of Dr. Meyer’s enthusiasm in the classroom often.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.
