Saw Marner was born in Tha Htu, Burma, on September 23,1970. He passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020 at the age of 50. He was preceded in death by his sister, Moo Ra Paw, and his brothers Poe Jack and Lwai Yoh Moo. He is survived by his wife, Hser Khu, his sons, Kaw Khu and Kaw Blut Doh and daughters Htee Ler Hgay and Moo Hset. Saw Marner has one granddaughter, Blossom Oo. He is also survived by his brother, Ket Ner, and sisters Hsar Kee Lah, Kapru Moo, Htee K'Baw, Lerree Muwah, and Htee Ner Paw. Saw Marner was a very generous man who loved and worked tirelessly for the Karen community and the church. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, church, and community. Visitation for family and friends will be at Anderson Funeral Home 1401 N. Arcade Street in St. Paul on Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 4pm-8pm. The funeral service will be at 10:30am at Trinity Karen Baptist Church (TKBC)/Lifepoint at 2220 Edgerton Street, Maplewood, MN 55117. It will be streamed on You Tube live. Please wear a mask and do social distancing.
