Sincere condolences to Brent & family and Kim & family in the passing of their mother, Marion Sandstrom.
Marion has been an amazing friend to sit and have nice long chat. She would even have a Pepsi for me when at her home on Sherwood. We could play puzzles and share puzzles to entertain ourselves for many hours.
Another favorite time was gathering friends to celebrate birthdays at a favorite restaurant. One of our birthday celebrations, we represented the 70's, 80's, 90's and one 100 year old.
Another favorite was a driving adventure to catch the color of fall leaves or flowering crab trees in the spring. Or we would have a restaurant destination we either read about or was recommended on a television program.
And LUTEFISK DINNERS to Moe Lutheran, Clear Lake, Wisconsin the third Sunday in October where they added a special room to cook the perfect lutefisk. And the pastor told jokes to entertain us as we waited for our turn to go down to be served. The last few years, we stayed closer to home for lutefisk at Immanuel Lutheran, 104 S Snelling Ave. The Men's Club prepared some of the most fabulous lutefisk the Friday before Thanksgiving Day each year.
Her memory will make me and my heart smile as long as I live. And I will be looking forward to seeing Marian again in heaven. Thank you God, for arranging for this wonderful human to be part of my life.
