John A. Hockbein, Jr. passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at the age of 77. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Gloria; and brother, Jeff. John is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marlene; daughter, Lisa Dietz (Scott Smith); son, John (Elizabeth); grandchildren, Eric Dietz, Mitchell, Abigail, and Gabriel Hockbein; sisters, Jennifer St. George and Jenelle Zamyslowski; and sister-in-law, Jeanne Soban.
John was interred on January 4, 2021 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Mahtomedi. A Celebration of John's Life will be held on Saturday, July 31st, 2021 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at the North St. Paul American Legion, 2678 7th Avenue E. in North St. Paul.
