Gary was more than a uncle to me... He was more like a father... He was there for me my whole life and taught almost evething I know, like how build, fish, and to take care of my loved one. No matter how many times I made mistakes he never gave up on me, ever. All the nights when we didn't have anywhere go he would open the door and I sneak my friends in, but he knew and he treated them friends like family and let them have a place to stay, he was like a father to many of us lost causes and will be for forever missed.

My uncle was more than my uncle, he was my second father. He taught me how to read, write, do math, ice skate, play tennis, drive, fish, drive a boat, be sarcastic, and so much more! He gave me his sense of humor. I miss him. He was hilarious, extremely smart, selfless, and stubborn! It was an honor growing up with him in my life.
