Obituary of Lynda M. Koleber

Lynda M. Koleber passed away on December 28th, 2021 at the age of 70. Lynda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, godmother, and friend. She was born to Joseph & Evelyn on September 16th, 1951, the youngest of nine siblings. After graduating from Johnson High School, she married her high school sweetheart, David Koleber. Together they had one daughter, Jessica. They moved from the Eastside to Maplewood in 1979. For many years they ran their own successful craft business. Lynda hand-painted beautiful wood items and made amazing floral arrangements. They traveled around the Midwest selling at craft shows. Lynda was always making or painting something from ceramics to country folk art. Lynda was also a PC gamer for many years. She played EverQuest, World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2, and of course, Solitaire. She enjoyed spending time on the games with her best friend Rob, daughter Jessica, and grandson Gavin. Even though she was dealing with many health problems over the last several years, she never lost her witty sarcasm, could keep you on the phone for several hours at a time, and mastered the Minnesota goodbye. Lynda was preceded in death by her husband, David. She is survived by her daughter, Jessica (Shawn) Kahnert; grandson, Gavin; siblings, Joe (Anita) Schulte, Kathy (Gary) Bartholomew, Judy Tinkham, Dennis (Sallie) Tinkham, and Barb Wegscheider; and many nieces & nephews. Funeral Service is 11:00AM on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 Arcade Street (Hwy 61), Saint Paul, with Visitation 1 hour prior. Interment at Union Cemetery in Maplewood. Memorials preferred.
