Obituary of Kathryn Jeanette Lightfoot

Kathryn Jeanette “Jennie" Lightfoot Age 83. Born July 10, 1938 in Pipestone, MN. Passed away on May 5, 2022. Preceded in death by mother, Helen Lightfoot Hanson, brother, Donald J. Edwards, and sister Jean Waters. Survived by brother, John (“Jack”) Lightfoot; daughters, Sheryl Lightfoot and Julie Hutcheson-Downwind and granddaughters Emma and Chloe Thomas, Milayka and Alyssa Downwind, and many nieces and nephews. Enrolled member of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community, Lake Superior Band of Ojibwe. Retired from Honeywell, Inc and her ELCA ministry, she will be remembered for her lifetime of service to the Twin Cities’ American Indian community. Funeral service will be held at Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 N Arcade St, St Paul on Monday May 9 at 7pm with visitation beginning at 3pm. Private burial.
