Angie died on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the age of 81. She was born June 19, 1932 in Saint Paul and was a lifelong resident of the East Side of St. Paul. A member of Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church, Saint Paul, Minnesota. She graduated from the University of Minnesota where she met her husband of 60 years, Bob. Angie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Angie worked as a school teacher at Cleveland Junior High before becoming a homemaker and volunteer for many groups including GA Church, Johnson High School, 4-H, many sports teams and more. She later taught Adult Education, was a substitute for the St. Paul Public Schools and worked in the Johnson High School Athletics Office. Angie is survived by her husband Bob; children, Diann (Robert) Thornton, Mari (Steve) Drake and Todd (Glory) Barduson; grandchildren, Tori, Timmy & Teddy Drake; Dan (Michelle), Zach (Kate) & Josh Dennison; great-grandchildren, Gavyn, Mikayla & Norah Dennison. Angie will also be missed by her international children Odd (Norway), Anne (New Zealand), Sylvia (Argentina), Hanno (Austria), Unn (Norway) and Manu (Finland). She is preceded in death by her parents Max & Bertha Freitag (Schoenberg); sisters Maxine Glaser and Dorothy Mikyla and son Brian. Memorials preferred.
