Survived by husband David, with whom she went through everything together with for 48 years; children David, Jr. (Carly) and Susan (Jeff); grandchildren Katelyn (mother Becky), Angel and many others; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers Michael (Kris), Timothy (Terri) and Mark (Lori); niece Amanda and nephews Garrett and Spenser.

Layne spent her life teaching, giving and loving. She worked for the Saint Paul School District for over 30 years until retirement. She was the heart of her family and loved them beyond words. She had a smile that lit the room and a voice that made every Christmas Carol magical. She will be joining her mother Ann, father Thomas and sister Lynn until we can see her again.

Visitation 4 to 6 PM followed by a 6 PM Service on Monday, November 14th at Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 Arcade St (Hwy 61), Saint Paul. The Rev. Mickey Dobbins will be officiating.
