Obituary of Virgina "Ginny" B. Gibb

Passed away on November 23, 2022 at Walker Methodist Westwood Ridge. Ginny was born April 11, 1931 in St. Paul, MN to Charles & Blanche McKusky. She graduated from Johnson High School in 1948. Ginny was involved in several clubs & various school activities. Ginny met her husband, Jim, while singing in the church choir, they were married at Arlington Hills Methodist Church on December 8th, 1950. They raised three sons on St. Paul’s East side. Ginny was a Cub Scout Den mother, involved in P.T.A. and active in Women’s circle at church. Ginny spent time raising family and working part time as the church secretary. In 1973, she took a position with First Bank in St. Paul, as a Human Resources Specialist. In 1985, she was promoted to the position of bank officer. In 1990, Ginny retired from her position with bank, but did return to work part time there until 1995. Ginny had interest in reading, travel, and small trips, especially to Minnesota’s North Shore. She loved spending time with friends and family, collected bells, and small pitchers. Ginny also loved theater, concerts, and entertaining. Ginny is survived by her sons, James (Carol) of Menomonie, WI, David (Dawn) of Sturgeon Lake, MN. Grandchildren, Amy, Shane, Kelly, Jacob, and Alicia; and many great grandchildren. Ginny is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim, her brother Chuck, and her son Randy. Celebration of Life 11AM Tuesday, Dec 6th, at Path of Grace United Methodist Church, 759 County Road B, Maplewood. Visitation at church 1 hour prior to the service.
