Ellen Louise Bock Obituary

Ellen Louise Bock, 73, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2022 due to a long battle with COPD and Heart Disease.


Ellen was born on October 12, 1949 in Ponca, Nebraska. She resided in Sioux City, Iowa until relocating to the Minnetonka, MN area to be around her children.


Ellen graduated from Central High School in 1968. She received her associates degree from WIT in Medical Billing in 1992. Throughout her life, she enjoyed raising her children, volunteering at community centers, and spending family time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed many craft activities including card and jewelry making and having many dogs and cats over the years.


Ellen is preceded in death by her father Karroll Stading, and mother Mary Lund Stading. Also, her beloved dog Sadie.


She is survived by her loving children; Brad Bock and spouse Steve Henriksen, Debbie Vance and spouse Matthew Vance, and Katie Fry and spouse Andrew Fry; along with grandchildren, Nathan, Mackenzie, Nik, Sydney, and Liam.

Ellen’s celebration of life will be held at Presbyterian Homes, 4527 Shoreline Dr, Spring Park, MN 55384 on Saturday, December 10th. Viewing with the family is from 10-11 am and service will begin at 11 am. Following will be a lunch at Hazelwood Food and Drink, 5635 Manitou Rd, Excelsior, MN 55331.
