A remarkable, generous, kind man- Craig Fohrenkamm (74) of Saint Paul passed away March 13, 2023.

Craig graduated from Central High School, joined the Navy and bravely served his country. He was the proud owner of LePainter Auto Body for over 30 years.

Craig had a passion for anything on wheels, he restored classic cars, bicycles and pedal cars. He was also an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, 49ers and Masons. He loved to garden and was proud to show off his annual dahlia harvest. Craig cared deeply for others and lived to help others in need. He faced many health challenges, but always remained positive, was grateful for each day and never lost his smile.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Elsie, daughters Sara and Sonya (Kris) Evenson, and granddaughters Ellen and Annika Evenson. Siblings, Cary (Mary Lou), Lynn Brunner, Ron (Lynette), Diane (Jim) Bonney, Todd (Tara) and Laurie (Joel). Mother in law, LaVerne Anderson and brother in law Paul Anderson, as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Vernon.

While Craig is gone, he will continue to live with us in spirit, he was a beautiful soul and showed us a world of compassion.

Friends and family are invited to wear bright colors in honor of Craig at his memorial service: Immanuel Lutheran Church 104 Snelling Ave South St. Paul, MN 55105 on Friday 3/24 at 11am, visitation beginning at 10am with luncheon to follow the service.
