Obituary of Mary Fuith (Early)

Age 96. Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother, and great-great grandmother passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 10th, 2023. Preceded in death by parents, Raymond & Caroline; sisters, Betty & Lois; great-grandson, Strauder. Survived by loving husband of 72 years, Richard; children, Robert (Julaine), Carol (Strauder), Jeanne (Erasmo), Richard (DeAnn); grandchildren, Amy, Robert, Lisa, Laura, Theresa, Shannon, Cathie, Shawn, Marissa and Andrew; great-grandchildren, David, Sara, Kimberly, Katelyn, Heather, Gerald, James, Douglas, Armas, Nora, Blake, & Cameron; great-great grandchildren, Evelyn, Julaine, & Gwendolyn. Loved and cherished by all her many nieces & nephews. Mary was a kind and gentle woman that established friendships wherever she went and will be terribly missed by all. She was the best mother and grandmother a child could hope for, always sharing hugs, kisses, and chocolate chip cookies. She shared her great love of nature with many, especially birds and volunteered countless hours of her time at the Carpenter Nature Center. She taught all to have a deep respect and appreciation for the beauty of the outdoors. Thank you to Our Lady of Peace for her loving care on her final day. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30AM Monday, May 15, 2023 at the Church of St. Pascal Baylon, 1757 Conway St., St. Paul. Visitation at church 1 hour prior to the service. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Saint Pascal’s Church, Carpenter St. Croix Valley Nature Center (12805 St. Croix Trail, Hastings, MN 55033), or donor’s choice.
