Obituary of Mark Clifford Matteson

Mark Clifford Matteson, 66 years old, of St. Paul, MN sadly passed away unexpectedly on Friday July 28, 2023. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was proceeded in death by his father Clifford Matteson, mother Betty (Gilbert) Matteson, brothers Allan Matteson and Bruce Matteson. He is survived by his two children Rebecca Matteson (Walter Langdon) and Andrew Matteson, sister Nancy Matteson, ex-wife and friend Judy Hansett, grandson Walter Bennett Langdon, sister-in-law Lisa Matteson, niece Abby Matteson, as well as many cousins and friends. Mark enjoyed going to church and passionately supported Habitat For Humanity. His favorite place to visit was his cabin at Lake Minnewawa and was proud of his longstanding career as an electrical engineer. He very much enjoyed his family and telling family stories. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held in his honor at the Waverly Gardens Chapel in North Oaks, MN beginning with visitation at 12:30pm, following a service at 2pm and burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Maplewood, MN at 3pm on August 18th, 2023.
