It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stella (Kish) Fulmek, who peacefully departed this world on the 20th of October, 2023, at the remarkable age of 102, with her devoted brother, Glenn Kish, by her side. Born on May 6, 1921, in Brainerd, Minnesota, Stella was the cherished daughter of the late Frank Kish and Sylvia Kish. She was a woman of remarkable resilience and a deep-well of love, surrounded by the beauty of her family's memory.

Stella's journey was marked by the inevitable losses that time brings. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Fulmek, and her precious daughters, Betty Lou Partlow and Helen Marie Partlow. The loss of her sister, Eloise Echart, and her brothers, Robert Kish, Richard Kish, and Ronald Kish, left voids in her heart that she carried with grace. However, she found solace in the company of her remaining brother, Glenn Kish, who provided unwavering support and affection to the very end.

Stella's legacy is a testament to her capacity for love and her commitment to family. She is survived by her children, Kenneth Robert Partlow Ruthford, Gary Warren Partlow, Douglas Franklin Phipps, and Bobbie Louise Batchelder. Her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her immediate family, as she leaves behind a legacy of 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish her memory.

A beacon of light in her community, Stella discovered her greatest joy in her role as a nurse's aide during her later years. She dedicated herself to caring for those who could not care for themselves, finding purpose in what she humbly referred to as "the Lord's work." Her faith was unwavering, and she became an ordained minister, touching the lives of many through her teachings in Sunday school. Stella was an embodiment of devotion, her life serving as a living testament to her deep-seated faith.

Family and friends are invited to join in a Celebration-of-Life service, which will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 North Arcade Street (Hwy. 61), St. Paul, MN 55106, on Friday, October 27, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Following the service, interment will take place at Elmhurst Cemetery, 1510 North Dale Street, St. Paul, MN 55117.

In her passing, we remember Stella as a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many with her kindness, her faith, and her unwavering commitment to the betterment of others. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her memory will forever be a source of inspiration and love for us all.
