Of St. Paul, MN, died on November 1, 2023.

Yvonne was born February 11, 1929 and grew up on Payne Avenue, above her father's drycleaning store, on the east side of St. Paul. She was a lifetime member of First Covenant Church on Arcade Street. She directed and taught at the Happy Day preschool at First Covenant for over 30 years. She loved her old neighborhood and had a profound effect on many of the families whose children passed through her hands.

Yvonne met monthly with her high school girlfriends (the Mars club) for over 50 years! She was also a member of PEO Chapter DM.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents Gust and Beda Bergstrom and brother E.V. Al Bergstrom. She is survived by son Thomas Wimer, daughter Lynn Wimer (Fritz Hastreiter), and niece Kathleen Juenemann (Greg).

Memorials may be sent to First Covenant Church. There will be a graveside service at Union Cemetery on November 15 at 11:00 a.m.
