Obituary of Destiny Angel Samone Thomas

Destiny Thomas 1998 - 2023 Destiny Thomas, 25, of Saint Paul, Minnesota, passed away on 04 November 2023 in Mobile, Alabama. She was born on May 31, 1998 at 6:08 am in Minneapolis, MN at HCMC to Catina Thomas and David Gibson. Destiny Angel Samone Thomas, also known as Des-Pooh, was a devoted daughter, a wonderful and caring mother to her children Sophia Mitchell and Noah Thomas, and a loving sister to Isabella Knox, Ariah Thomas, and Elijah Knox. Destiny was a beautiful person both inside and out, and she would do anything for her siblings and children. She loved life and was a true success in every aspect. Destiny will be deeply missed by her mother, Catina Thomas and her family, including her aunts Lashonda Walker, Bobbietta Thomas, Gloria Walker, Makesha Jackson, and Sharise Jackson. She was also cherished by her grandparents Lorraine Thomas, Morris Jackson, David Harrell, and Pearl Gibson as well as her cousins Demetrius Miller, Montwuse Williams, Lamarcus Hall, Lola Masese, Caius Brownlee, Grace Getachew ,and Ermias Getachew. Destiny served in the United States Army National Guard, and was proud of her military family and all their accomplishments. Her dedication and commitment were evident in her service. She leaves us as a Honored Sergeant of the 859th EVCC located in Pascagoula, MS. She pursued a career as an Engineer at Ingalls Shipbuilding and as a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens as well as owning a small vending machine company. Destiny's pride and joy are her mother, two children and three siblings that she spent most of her time fostering with love and care as well as many dear friends. A ceremony to honor Destiny's life will be held at Anderson Funeral Home, located at 1401 Arcade Street, Saint Paul, MN 55106. The viewing will be held at 10:30 am. The date and time of the ceremony will be 21 November 2023 at noon. Please join us in remembering and celebrating the life of Destiny Thomas.
