Loving and Dedicated Husband, Devoted Father and Grandfather. Born January 15, 1919, Taken home to the Lord Jesus on September 13, 2013. Preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Josephine; dear son, Thomas Joseph; parents, Carl and Mary and brothers, Alfred and Eugene. Survived by daughters, Gina Pitera and her children, Angela (Patrick) and Rachel; Mara Miletich (Stephen) and their children, Ana and Eli; son Carl (Mary Kaye) and their children, Thomas (Robin), Daniel, Rebecca, Charissa, David, Timothy, Joshua, Anna Esther, Jeremiah and John Michael; and caring sister, Marilyn Pitera. Carl retired at 90 years old from a family-run business founded by his father. He enjoyed his time at the lake where he did lots of projects and snoozed. Memorials preferred to Feed My Starving Children.
