Jeffrey Meyer Wigen
Age 65 of St. Paul, Minnesota
Died on January 30th, 2024
Jeff was preceded in death by his father Roger Wigen and brother Craig Wigen. He is survived by his mother Peggy Wigen; brother Bruce (Joan) Wigen and sister Tracy (Derek) Johnson; children Amy (Shane) Kustrich, Melanie (Brandon) Acker, Danielle (Andrew) Klapproth; grandchildren Ellie Kustrich and Jacob Kustrich.
Jeff Wigen went to Johnson High School in St. Paul and then went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps.
“Chef Jeff” worked for many years in restaurants throughout the Twin Cities and most recently loved cooking for his friends and family. His greatest joy was spending summers fishing at the Veterans Campground on Big Marine Lake.
Jeff will be buried at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in a private family ceremony.
Celebration of life will be held this summer at the Veterans Campground, date to be announced.
