LOIS GUNTER

Born in St. Paul. Minnesota October 24, 1926

On Thursday, April 25th, Lois passed away peacefully at the age of 97. Preceded in death by husband, Robert and sister, Lorraine. She was the mother of David and Pamela, Grandmother to 7 grandchildren and Great Grandmother to 13 great grandchildren.

Lois was a familiar face on Payne Avenue in her younger years, working as a clerk in her parent’s grocery store and at Jacobson’s bakery. Lois also spent many years as a loan officer at Hillcrest State Bank. She was an incredible seamstress and sewed incredibly detailed hand-made Christmas stockings for her entire family.

Lois, a great mom, was later known by all as Grandma or GG by all the little great grandchildren. She was a woman of faith and an active member of Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church for many years. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Lois’s name to the church.

We will miss her, her sunny smile and positive attitude. We are assured she is with her Lord and Savior for eternity.

Rest in Peace, Grandma. You will be dearly missed.
