Janice passed peacefully on February 2nd, 2024 in Hastings, Minnesota at the age of 79. She transitioned with the love of her family – both beside her and here in heart.

Janice is survived by her husband Dennis (Swede) Standberg, children John (Deb) Koch, Priscilla (Keith), Fjetland, and Christine (Gary) Griffith, her twelve Grandchildren and ten Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Deanna Koch.

Janice grew up in Spring Lake Park, married and raised her four Children in Forest Lake.

She always worked hard having two jobs at a time, but was always ready with a meal and a cup of coffee for her visitors. Janice had a gift of giving and helping people throughout her life.

She loved having people around to celebrate holidays, birthdays, and share life with.

Janice will be missed greatly and will live-on forever in our hearts and through the many memories that were made together.

Janice’s funeral and will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on July 12th at 11 AM with a Luncheon following.
