Obituary of Darlene Joyce Busse

Darlene J. Busse 8/30/1945 – 6/4/2024 Darlene Busse joined our Lord on June 5th, 2024. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Gerald Busse, parents Leo and Agnes Verville, brother Michael Verville, Sister Kathleen Fisher, brother-in-law Mark Fischer, sons John Busse and Wayne Busse. Darlene was a lifetime East Side resident of St. Paul, MN. She was a dedicated MN sports fan, spending many nights cheering her teams on from arena seats, and in her later years her cozy armchair. Darlene’s time was spent tending to her garden, volunteering at Our Redeemer Church, and loving her grandchildren. She was loved by all and will be deeply missed by many. She is survived by her sisters Judith Klotz and Mildred Verville, sons Troy (Margo) Verville, Steve (Lisa) Verville, and Gerald (Rebecca) Busse, daughter Dawn (Dan) Driggins, Max (Brenda) Muller, 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1390 Larpenteur Ave. E, St. Paul, MN 55109 on Thursday, June 13, 2024 with a visitation from 10-11am, service 11am-12pm, and a lunch to follow. Interment to follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN on Friday, July 5 at 9:30am.
